The talented South African will make his debut in the Nedbank Golf Challenge in honour of Gary Player amidst what has been an incredible rise in world golf for this young star of the game.
Jarvis secured his place in the Sun City field after winning the Sunshine Tour’s Courier Guy Order of Merit last season.
As a talented amateur who became the first player in South African golf history to win the prestigious “Triple Crown” of the South African Amateur, the SA Amateur Stroke Play and The African Amateur, there was always immense excitement about Jarvis’s future potential.
After turning professional in 2022 he was crowned the Sunshine Tour’s Fortress Rookie of the Year in the 2022/23 season, including tying the record for the lowest round on Tour of 59 in the 2023 Stella Artois Players Championship.
His first significant professional breakthrough came with a victory on the HotelPlanner Tour in the 2023 Euram Bank Open.
But the last two years have seen his greatest improvement as he won twice on the Sunshine Tour in 2025 on his way to claiming the overall Courier Guy Order of Merit title.
Jarvis took this form onto the DP World Tour and claimed back-to-back victories in the Magical Kenya Open and then the Investec South African Open Championship, earning him the Sunshine Tour Commissioner’s Award.
This year he also made his debut in The Open, The Masters and The PGA Championship, and achieved a career-high best of tied sixth in The Open at Royal Birkdale.
