Nick Taylor

“I’ve always prided myself in handling those clutch moments.”

Canadian professional Taylor makes his first trip to Sun City as a five-time winner on the PGA TOUR.

Taylor’s latest victory came in the Sony Open in Hawaii in January this year, and he makes his debut in the Nedbank Golf Challenge as one of the top 50 golfers in the world.

Perhaps more significantly, Taylor has proven himself as a man for the big occasion, with three of his five victories coming in playoffs.

The former world number one amateur won the Canadian Amateur in 2007 and then became the first Canadian to win the Canadian Open since 1954 when he triumphed in his national Open in 2023.

With a degree in Economics, Taylor is a firm believer in the compound effect of doing the little things daily that add up to big success.

Known as a fearsome closer of tournaments when he’s in contention, Taylor’s game seems perfect for the nerves of steel the Gary Player Country Club course will demand.
