Shaun Norris

South Africa’s Norris will make his third appearance in the Nedbank Golf Challenge this year.

Norris returns to Africa’s Major with the confidence of a top-five finish in last year’s tournament.

That performance marked an incredible end to 2025 in which he almost successfully defended his Alfred Dunhill Championship title before losing to Jayden Schaper in a playoff.

He then came close to a third DP World Tour title when he finished runner-up to countryman Yurav Premlall in the 2026 Estrella Damm Catalunya Championship.

Norris’s most prolific golf has been on the Japan Golf Tour where he claimed his ninth victory in this year’s Gateway to The Open Mizuno Open.

Norris was a top South African amateur and a member of the country’s 2002 Eisenhower Trophy team alongside Louis Oosthuizen and Charl Schwartzel.

He is one of three golfing brothers – Alain and Kyle being the other two in the family. His brother Kyle is his regular caddie on tour.
