Thriston Lawrence
Lawrence will make his fifth appearance in Africa’s Major after coming close to a stunning debut victory at Sun City in 2022.
That year he was one shot off the lead going into the final round, and eventually finished tied 13th which stands alongside his finish of tied 14th in 2024 as his best finishes in this tournament to date.
It remains a dream of Lawrence to win a Nedbank Golf Challenge he remembers first attending when he was eight years old, and when he walked 18 holes watching Ernie Els.
This year, Lawrence became a six-time winner on the DP World Tour after he claimed his third Omega European Masters title, equalling Seve Ballesteros’s record in this tournament.
